We’re all better having known any version of Andrea, their poems, and you, and yours. Thank you for doing the work of showing up for this audience this past year, during a most sensitive season of your life. Honored to have been some sort of witness to your grief, and your celebration of Andrea’s life. May they continue to show you how here they are all the days of your life 🤍
I was there that night, and it was truly magical! Meg, when you came on stage, I started crying because you were absolutely glowing, and I just saw Andrea radiating through you. It made me believe even more in the truth of what Andrea said: that we are reincarnated into who we love while they are still alive. It's impossible to not look at you and not see Andrea inside of you as well. It's such a testament to your eternal love.
I also fully relate to feeling like Andrea was one of my best friends, even though they never met me. So often, if I'm struggling to make a decision or navigating some sort of difficulty, I can think about what Andrea might say in that situation, and their wisdom appears.
Thank you for your incredible work bringing their performance to life. I'm extremely grateful that I got to see Andrea's last performance in Denver at the Paramount and seeing it again at Red Rocks, I truly felt like I was witnessing Andrea perform in real life again. Your newsletter affirms that I did.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and discovered Andrea the same week. This newsletter called my attention to what was actually important then and continues to do so now. Andrea's boots may seem impossible to fill, but the way you share walking in them anyway keeps me on my own path. Thank you for this, for everything. I love you
Thank you in the way you care for Andrea’s legacy. It was a magical night! As the show started two doves flew up to the jutting red rock and dove into the confines of a small cave. It felt like Andrea saying hello, the warm breeze and the red moon rising were such a magical backdrop to an amazing night! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely. ❤️ I know we'll all continue to do our part. It will be a long long time before Andrea's 2nd death. I will continue to write of them and share their legacy to anyone who will listen. ❤️
That night was divine. I didn’t just feel Andrea there but also my best friend who I also never got the chance to say goodbye to. He passed away 8 years ago this summer. It wasn’t closure that night, like I expected. It was joy, vigor for life, and immense gratitude to be safe and seen. I spent a lot of time prior to the show wondering what sign I could make, card I could write, or way I could telepathically communicate to you, Megan, my gratitude for your openness. But I went hoping it would come to me. You took a photo with friends as they were breaking down the stage, I knew that was my chance. With an empty coke bottle in my hand I used all my breath to yell, “Megan! Thank you! Thank you!” My girlfriend held me while I sobbed because that ‘thank you’ was through the portal of you to my best friend, to Andrea, to life well lived. Thank you for graciously turning around to accept it. It is a moment that I will never forget and feel incredibly honored to have had. So I say again, “Megan! Thank you! Thank you!”
Thank you Megan, for showing us how you’ve walked the path of sorrow, and grief, and love. Andrea is more here than they ever have been. Lighting the way for others, and leaving stretch marks on their hearts 🙏🏻💛✨
It was a very magical night. Thank you. I'm one of the people who didn't get to see them perform live. I only discovered them about six months before they left their body. But they quickly became one of the most important people in my life. I'm so grateful to have been at this show. We could definitely feel them there.
Earlier that afternoon, I found a penny on the ground and put it in my pocket. I was with a friend who saw Andrea's last live performance.
As soon as this Red Rocks show was over, my friend said, "That penny you found today, it was from Andrea." She told me that at that last performance, everyone got a penny on their way into the show. So she said Andrea made sure I got my penny. I just burst into tears (again).
But I thought, "If this penny is really from Andrea, it will have a significant year on it." The only year that I thought I might associate with Andrea is 1975 - our shared birth year. But I didn't remember to look at the penny until the next day.
When I did take it out of my pocket, I thought, "There is no way this is will say 1975."
Tears fell as I listened to your voice as you read Andrea’s poem about the afterlife. You sounded like them and you at the same time. The same voice twinned together in love. Thank you for sharing your love and words with all of us.
This gave me chills, Meg: “Maybe death did not arrive to take Andrea away, but to carry them further.”
The same internal chills I got when the wind picked up as you were reading Love Letter From the Afterlife at the show. It became so calm when you finished, too.
Seeing the film premiere at Red Rocks was such a beautiful night. I never got the opportunity to see Andrea performing live before that, but that night truly changed something in me. It was a life changing experience that transcended beyond any concert, live poetry performance or community gathering I have ever experienced. You have done a wonderful job of spreading their light, and you should be proud.
your boundless love is humbling. I wish I were able to be there, Red Rocks is so special. and I believe you were part of a miracle, and I believe that Andrea allegedly died and that they are with you more than ever. so very grateful to know you, and to be a part of keeping Andrea alive. xoxo
I wasn’t planning on sitting here at 8:50 in the morning on my bed with tears dreaming down my face, but here I am. I didn’t get to be there that night but your description of that truly magical night helped me feel like I was. Thank you for your fierce heart, your poetry, your never ending devotion to Andrea, and to all of us…. Your words have a way of just going straight to the heart and I just wanna thank you for that, because I needed that.🙏❤️
Dear Megan, I’m one of those people who despite knowing about them for years never got to see them live. Never got to speak my story to them through tears and smiles alike.
Here’s a fraction of my story. Putting it out here for it to reach them through you perhaps who would be their closest channel. More strength and love and gentle ways to you 🤍
Gratitude and admiration for the gifts you bring forward to the collective “us”. Finding you and Andrea has given me a light through the darkness. Losing my spouse the end of October last year, Come See Me in the Good Light was a loving friend to my grieving heart the many times I needed to watch it and become part of your story. It’s been a pleasure and to be here with you along this way..thank you for breaking open your heart to share Andrea with us. I feel their presence and connection to you both. I imagine the miracle you all experienced at Red Rocks was life giving in so many ways. Perhaps there will be a way to be part of it another way for those like me who could not attend in person. Much love…

Thank you, Megan. You are (have always been) an extraordinary light keeper.
And a light.
1000%, a light 🩵

"It's impossible to not look at you and not see Andrea inside of you as well." - this is the best compliment. ♡ Thank you so much.

Oh my god! This is my first time hearing about this. Wow, wow. Thank you so much for sharing this other piece of magic.
Caring for Andrea’s legacy is sacred work. We must all do all we can to continue to shepherd it through.

>>>Guess what year is on that penny?<<<
1975.
Thank you, Andrea!
